Placing an order with Us
Placing an order for one of our ultralight or experimental aircraft kits is a straightforward process designed to ensure your kit is perfectly suited to your mission, skill level, and unique needs. We take pride in tailoring each kit to provide an exceptional building and flying experience for every customer. Here's how it works:
Step 1: Consultation and Selecting Your Kit
We begin by understanding your specific goals and requirements. Whether you're building a kit for Part 103 ultralight requirements, or an experimental ameture built, registered aircraft, we work with you to determine the right model and options. During this stage, we’ll discuss:
- Your mission: Are you looking for recreational flying, cross-country adventures, or another specialized purpose?
- Your skill level: Whether you're an experienced builder or new to the process, we can guide you to the kit that matches your expertise.
- Additional needs: Customizations, accessories, and upgrades are available to align with your specific preferences.
Step 2: Confirming Your Order and Initial Deposit
Once we finalize the details of your kit, you’ll confirm your order by placing a 30% deposit. This deposit secures your kit and ensures the manufacturing process is tailored to your specifications. We’ll provide you with an invoice detailing your order and deposit amount.
Step 3: Progress Payments
Our payment schedule is designed to align with the key stages of production:
- 30% Deposit: Required to begin manufacturing your kit.
- 20% Payment: Due when the airframe is complete. This milestone ensures transparency and allows you to track the progress of your kit.
- 50% Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon full completion of the kit, prior to delivery or pickup.
Step 4: Production and Customization
Once your order is confirmed, our team gets to work building your kit. Each component is crafted with precision, ensuring the highest quality. Due to overwhelming interest in our kits, please note that there is currently a waitlist for production slots. We will keep you updated on your position in the queue and provide regular updates as your kit progresses.
Step 5: Delivery or Pickup
Before the final payment has been received, your kit will be carefully packed and prepared for delivery. Our kits are shipped in a secure crate to protect all components during transit, or you can arrange to pick up your kit in person.
